Let the Voters Decide was founded as a non-partisan, multi-ethnic volunteer organization that promotes community involvement in the immigration ordinances adopted in Farmers Branch, Texas. The organization supported a public vote on Ordinance No. 2892, aimed to defeat the revised ordinance, Ordinance 2903, in a 2007 election, and today continues to urge Farmers Branch officials to do away with unconstitutional municipal immigration ordinances. In support of this mission, Let the Voters Decide volunteers work with a broad range of business, political and community organizations to promote community awareness and understanding of social issues relating to immigration and human rights.
